Behind every image is a moment, a feeling, a reason.
We ask our photographers what made them stop and shoot.

The Tropique State of Mind

You know that moment where you stop checking the time? Nope neither.

But here’s how we imagine it would feel. Your phone stays face down. Your shoulders drop. Everyone including the world, stops asking things of you. And yes in our heads Dream a Little Dream is playing as we type this.

Say less, welcome to Tropique.

This collection is about clocking out and clocking into island time. Let the 9-5 lay dormant for the moment. You know what, forget that a clock even exists, go Albert Einstein and enter the Theory of Relativity. Time is just a state of mind right? It’s when the only agenda is the amount of salt on your skin and in the amount of knots in your hair.

Somewhere between Japan and Seoul.

Japan and South Korea really did something to us.

The pace, the details, the way everything felt as though it was a dream of a familiar place. From wandering quiet streets to being absolutely overwhelmed in the best way by food, the people, culture. Every day felt like a well set table that was waiting to be undressed.

Beautiful sites, sweet moments, big conversations, with friends and family, strangers that you talk so long with that they become part of the furniture.

We ate ridiculously well. Like still thinking about it well. Late nights, small tables, menus we half understood, flavours that made us pause mid sentence.

What surprised us most was how naturally The Vault Stock fit into Asia.

The aesthetic, the lights, the appreciation for the simple things, stillness yet beautiful chaos. It just made sense. Seeing how our work translated there confirmed something we had already felt but hadn’t fully said out loud yet. This brand travels damn bloody well.

We met incredible people. Creative, generous, inspiring. The kind of people that remind you why you do what you do and why building something with love and purpose actually matters.

We came home tired but full. Inspired in a grounded way, not manic (maybe still a little manic) way. The best kind of way.

Already dreaming of going back, until then, we’re taking The Vault Stock to another destination, one where dreams are met by jazz bars and whiskey. Come along for the ride.

The Italy Edit | Estero Imagery

Micaela’s lens makes Italy feel close. Not the postcard scenes, but the glances, the air just before dusk, the silence between words. Her photos hold both softness and edge, guided by instinct. This Vault Stock collection isn’t about documenting a place, it’s about holding onto a mood — romantic, textured, and impossible to ignore.

Shot across central and southern Italy in 2023 — from Rome’s streets to the coastlines of Sicily — the series blends personal memories with fleeting scenes. Weathered stone, shifting light, locals in their rhythm. A mix of nostalgia and warmth that lingers long after you’ve left.

The Edit // Romi

Romi shoots what happens in between, not the picture-perfect stuff, but side glances, long roads, and light that hangs for a second before it’s gone. Her work carries both softness and grit, built on memory and instinct. This Vault Stock collection isn’t about landmarks, it’s about mood.

“I started with film, drawn to how light, grain, and shadow could hold something real. Now I work in both analogue and digital, chasing the feeling that even the briefest moment, once captured, might last forever. Nostalgia shapes how I see, the quiet, the raw, the beauty that lives on the edge of sadness. My work is about attention: holding what feels fleeting.”

Solace | Mariana

At The Vault Stock, we’ve got a thing for the quiet stuff. The offcuts, the still moments that slip by between the chaos. This collection holds those kinds of images: honest, low key, and steady in their simplicity.

Shot by Mariana, it’s a quiet celebration of the in between. Shadows on walls, fruit on tables, morning light through curtains. Most were taken at home or on slow walks nearby, built not on big concepts but on presence. Together they carry a softness, a hum, a reminder to notice what’s already around us.

Verão | Jade Piper

Some photographers chase perfection. Jade Piper chases feeling. Her work is delicate yet strong, shaped by instinct and emotion. She captures the in-between moments, the quiet strength and subtle defiance that live just under the surface. This Vault Stock collection carries that same charge, brought to life through her muse.

Featured in the Verão collection, the series began after Swim Week in Miami, when Jade connected with runway muse Jasmine. What started on a rooftop with nothing but instinct and energy became some of her most enduring work. Years later, those images remain among her favourites, a reminder of a moment when everything simply flowed.

Aperitivo Hour | Agata Dimmich

At The Vault Stock, we work with photographers who shoot with feeling, not just for a still but for what’s really there. Agata from Vistyle Studio has a quiet sensitivity to her work. She knows how to catch unspoken moments, honest light, real atmosphere and a sense of stillness. This collection marks our opening release of The Vault Stock Journal, where we take a deeper look into the collections with words from our photographers, and Aperitivo Hour sets the tone of what’s inside.

This collection was captured on the coast of Sardegna during golden hour - that delicious moment when the sun softens everything, painting the world in a warm, cinematic glow. The whole atmosphere felt like we’d slipped into a summer film from another time.

That’s exactly what inspired the retro undertones running through the series - a little nostalgic, a little sun-kissed, entirely unhurried.

I wanted the collection to feel evocative and sentimental - like the kind of summer that stays with you long after it’s over. The sound of slow waves and seagulls overhead, vintage accessories catching the light, hair dancing in the breeze, saltwater on skin, and laughter echoing softly against the rocks. There’s something about the Sardinian coast - its wild beauty and quiet charm - that invites you to slow down and just be. I tried to bottle that essence in every frame.
